Polaris a leading manufacturer in the powersports industry has launched the Polaris ATVs, Polaris Ranger RZR Side by Side vehicles and Snowmobiles in our market. Their off-road vehicles are extremely capable and comfortable all at the same time.

Established in 1954, and a market in over 100 countries Polaris industries have now decided to attack the not so competitive Indian market with their off-road adventure vehicles. Head office located in Jasola, New Delhi. They have 10 dealerships in India and bookings for the snowmobiles, off-road vehicles and all terrain vehicles start from today. Dispatch to start from September this year. The first set of snowmobiles have been booked by the Indian Defense Forces.

The bold move of making the first movers advantage into the Indian market was backed by Mr. Dubey when he said, ““The specialized automobile market is at a very nascent stage in India at this time. Our principal aim is to sensitize the consumers and create a new market for the possible options available in recreational vehicles such as ATVs, off-road jeeps (Polaris RANGER RZR Side-by-Side vehicle) and snowmobiles, and to generate more interest in these activities. We will focus on the utility application of our vehicles in areas of construction, forest, military, police and Para military forces”

The vehicles prices range from 2.4 lacs to 20 lacs. The ATV’s have different variants with engine capacity being 450cc or 760cc. EBS [Engine Braking System] helps to slow down the engine speed of the vehicle and aid the brakes in slowing the vehicle down.
